And when you’re waiting to die consequences no longer matter over the things you do or say. But they survive, and suddenly Miguel is overwhelmed by his recognition of his feelings and before he can say or do anything about them she’s there. The girl who is going to take Tulio away from him. He doesn’t know what to do or how to feel, he wants to hate her, hate Tulio, hate himself. He doesn’t want to live life without his partner, but he doesn’t want to spend his days watching him be happy with someone else either. Runs Canon Compliant with the movie from Miguel's perspective with it sometimes switching to Tulio's.Mature Chapters ahead, beware! Completely un beta'd so if you see a mistake please do point it out.The lyrics are all from songs in Elton John's El Dorado, which by the way is a bloody fantastic album so if you love the movie go listen to it, it runs through their entire relationship from leaving Spain to leaving El Dorado and what happens after and the lyrics are so perfect, Elton ships it too.
