Elwing's 14 The Company of Elwing, orA True Tale of the Last Days of Númenor, as Never Recorded In Official Chronicles, Because While Some of the Valar Were Definitely Looking the Other Way or Even Aiding And Abetting, No One Thinks It Was All of Them, So the Truth Might Get Some People in Potentially a Lot of Trouble(Sometimes you become a parent way too young under terrible circumstances and you're absolutely awful at it, and by the time you're far enough in therapy you can even consider trying to make amends one of your children has left the circles of the world, so all you can do for him is put together a motley crew of family/friends/enemies and try to save his people from themselves/the gods.)

Stealing Unseen to West

by JazTheBard

Amandil of Andúnië sails to the Undying Lands to beg for mercy for Númenor and warn the elves of Ar-Pharazôn's plot to attack, as described in the Akallabêth, but no tales describe his fate, and his mariners, too, are lost to history. Here, he wakes up on a beach in Valinor, and his extended family completely forgets to explain that they are, in fact, his family.

Course Correction

by Raaf

After the not so untimely death of Ar-Pharazôn, the kingdom of Númenor is now officially under the sole rule of Tar-Míriel. In practice, the position of the Faithful remains precarious and unpopular. She doesn't have the support to outright reverse her subjects’ misguided course, but now at least she has an opportunity to start fixing that. Sauron’s powerbase is entrenched in Númenórean society, but it was based on the favour and support of the king. Openly acting against his nominal sovereign would endanger it. It was time to adjust his strategy. Plotting ensues. Idea based on this post

"It is said that Amandil set sail in a small ship at night, and steered first eastward, and then went about and passed into the west. And he took with him three servants, dear to his heart, and never again were they heard of by word or sign in this world, nor is there any tale or guess of their fate." - Akallabêth
