She adored her daughter in law Sally and her little granddaughter, but there was something about Percy that put her on edge. She had no idea what - he was a kind boy, eager to help with his baby sister when most teenagers would run for the hills and clearly adored his mother - but there was just something about him, something about his too-bright eyes that made her feel uneasy. ~~~Or, Paul's parents are taking care of Estelle for a few days. When picking her up, they meet Percy again as well as his older brother (what was his name? Tri?). At this point, Anna just wants to know what the dad looks like to have kids that look like THIS. Especially when, several days later, they meet the stepmother as well.

The lady at the counter curiously glanced over before lifting a questioning brow. “My brother – half-brother, technically, I have much better breeding – decided to run away from home to where our father can’t reach him and now he won’t leave. And now I can’t leave unless he leaves,” Triton continued. Percy opened his mouth to object that wasn’t what happened at all, but the tyrant only waved a hand to silence him. “He’s seen war or whatever, so if you could maybe just drug him then I’ll throw him into a suitcase and we can be out of here by the Summer Solstice!”Silence. Finally, the woman cleared her throat and turned to Percy.“I’m guessing he’s the one you want checked into the mental hospital?” She asked. Triton gasped as Percy punched the air in victory.“Aha!” OrGetting in trouble works a little differently when your parent is an all-powerful god. Sometimes you have to escape to the land beyond gods and get your immortal brother turned human to drag you back so you can be exploded a million pieces. You know, normal teenage stuff.

Was proving to be just as painful as the first.Even if this time it was his half brother instead of his child.OrWhen the consequences from the Capture the Flag game are more severe because Percy does nearly die against the Ares cabin. It brings back some bad memories for his Dad's side of the family due to Annabeth's involvement. And as a result ends up gaining a very (in Percy's opinion.) overprotective immortal family in the process.

“You’re friends… with Triton?” Percy asked. Ridley nodded stoically as Triton himself looked as if he wanted to figure out how to drown. A feral grin touched Percy’s lips. Triton never let him near his friends… or even know their names. For a while, Percy was convinced he just didn’t have any. That certainly made more sense than him being friends with someone as nice as Ridley. “Why?” he asked, and Triton’s eyes narrowed. “King Poseidon paid me to,” Ridley told him. Ah. Percy figured he was joking but gave an understanding nod anyway. Triton pinched the bridge of his nose. “I’m guessing I’m needed at the banquet?” he asked him, and Triton gave a slight nod. “Very well, Lord Perseus,” he nodded. Oh. There was a banquet? That at least explained why nobody was back from their duties yet… Did this mean he had to be bored another three hours? Not that he would have enjoyed the banquet.
