things we lost in the fire
by words-writ-in-starlight (Gunmetal_Crown)
“Are you really…him?” “Unfortunately for us all,” Grantaire said. Everything might have changed when the Fire Nation attacked, but that was some fiftyyears ago, and what matters is now. And now, the Avatar is on the run, the Crown Prince of the Fire Nation is missing, and history is on a pivot point.

Restless Spirits
by Enjoloras
“You're fucking with me, right?”“You're not really my type, so no.”“You know what I mean,” Grantaire said, exasperated.Jean Prouvaire stirred their coffee slowly, “No, I'm not fucking with you. I'm totally serious.”“Combeferre?” Grantaire said, as though to clarify.“Combeferre.”“He thinks his apartment is haunted?”-Jehan wants to hold a séance, Combeferre is absolutely NOT spooked, Grantaire wastes his evening and Enjolras should probably clear something up.

Code Red
by Enjoloras
Les Amis were facing an emergency. Code red, Bossuet had joked, before they'd all become aware of the severity of the situation. According to Combeferre it had now been almost twenty hours of complete radio silence.Enjolras was missing. For anyone else in the group to unexpectedly go quiet wouldn't have been too big of a deal – maybe they were busy, or just didn't want to talk to people for a while. People had lives outside of the group, after all. Other friends, family, commitments...But Enjolras?Enjolras, who was practically glued to his phone for social networking purposes, just falling off the face of the earth? Unheard of.Unheard of, and definitely cause for concern.

En R
by KikiJ
Grantaire is one of hosts at ABC Radio, with a show where he (theoretically) talks about art, and has guest speakers on to showcase topics of interest. It's on at 2:30am, for the night owls and weirdos like him.Enjolras works at the same station, providing short news clips for the daytime, as well as running a late night political show in the slot before Grantaire's. With that, Enjolras is no longer allowed to take callers on his show, so occasionally Grantaire fields them instead, which leads to Enjolras calling in to rebuke their arguments with Grantaire, who delights in driving Enjolras up the wall. Eventually, they'll decide to start a show of their own, En R, where they chat just the two of them about Enjolras' topic because for some reason, their bickering is popular. Meanwhile, the freshness and oddity of Grantaire's show has gained him something of a following online, and when one things leads to another, Grantaire winds up with a somewhat unintentional mystery on his hands- just who is Grantaire married to? The fans demand to know. Or, some of them do, and others yell at them for prying into R's personal life.

“Morning sunshine.” The man said, “Heard you had a bit of a bump.” Grantaire gave him a weak smile, trying to place the man in his memory and coming up against only hazy impressions. Maybe he had met him last night, when he was brought into the emergency room. Perhaps he was one of the paramedics, or his new doctor for the morning rotation. “How are you feeling?” The man asked.“Like I got hit by a car.”“Well, that’s good.” The man responded, “Because you did.” When Grantaire is in a car accident, he loses his memories of some of Les Amis. Will he recognise the new friendships he builds when his old memories come back?

you're just too good to be true
by radianceofthefuture
Joly vibrates with excitement as he introduces them, and Grantaire laughs fondly. Joly and Bossuet had overwhelmingly positive things to say about this guy in advance, and it’s clear from watching them interact that Grantaire holds them in the same esteem. He smiles at Combeferre, shakes hands with Courfeyrac, then turns to Enjolras and– Oh, come on. (Or: the one where Enjolras never notices when people are flirting with him.)

Betting Warmth Against The Cold
by lyres
Enjolras doesn’t know Grantaire very well. He likes to think he understands general human nature quite well, though – how to lead, if one doesn’t? – and with what little knowledge he’s cobbled together, he’s not sure he would have thought Grantaire the type to be balancing Bossuet on his shoulders as the latter is ripping off mistletoe decorations around the faculty party. And yet. (Four consecutive Christmases; four moments about coming in from the cold.)

There is a mermaid in the lake. Bossuet is not quite sure what to do about that (but it definitely involves puns).

It’s 4am on a Tuesday when Combeferre gets a phone call from Enjolras. “Ferre, I hit a man with my car.” He says, in a rush. “On an unrelated note, I also found my soulmate.” [It's the soulmate AU I promised months ago!]

Precautions
by adr3stia
Before every match, Grantaire would turn to Enjolras as he sat in the small changing room and ask the same question around a suggestive smirk and a raised eyebrow. Enjolras would always reply the same thing, his eyes rolling upwards, his mouth flexing into a grin that mirrored Grantaire's, and no hint of rage in his voice. "Kiss for good luck?" "Die." Until Grantaire almost does.

The Kissing Booth
by kjack89
“Are you shitting me?” Grantaire stared down at the brightly colored flyer in apparent disgust, and Bossuet bent over to pry it from him. “What could possibly…” he started, trailing off as he saw what had caught Grantaire’s ire. “Ah. I’ll take it he didn’t, uh, clear it with you first?” “It’s not about clearing it with me,” Grantaire snapped, snatching the flyer back. “I’m not his keeper. But I would think it would get at least a cursory mention.” “What’s going on?” Joly asked from across the table, using Bossuet’s preoccupation to snag a bite of hashbrowns from his plate. Grantaire just thrust the flyer at Joly, who took it from him, raising both eyebrows as he read out loud, “‘Pucker Up for Change – A Kissing Booth to Fight to Legitimize Sex Work’?” He glanced up at Grantaire, who was scowling. “But what does this…” It was his turn to trail off as he spotted the name listed among the other participants at the bottom of the flyer: Enjolras.
