She had forgotten to bring invisibility potions with her, and prayed that the canopy of thick leaves overhead would be enough cover until they made it home to their treehouse. Their hooves pounded on the mossy earth as they sprinted in hopes that they hadn’t been spotted gathering flowers in the meadow for Martin. The birds twittered soft tunes and flew around in the tree limbs above Kit’s head. She remembered trying to chase after one who had stolen Martin’s flower crown she’d made for him once. The cow had been one of their only remaining friends in the forest until he went to live with the humans in the nearby town. It was a little lonely, but the forest was all Kit needed.Or, my Fable oc, Kit, is just trying to make a nice living for herself after the god war despite the many, many disruptions.
