InuYasha - A Feudal Fairy Tale
A potentially explicit work
Emergency! (TV 1972)
Extrication
by Random_Guise
The crews of Station 51 encounter a tense moment during Season 1 in this very short piece. I don't own these characters or a fireman's helmet.
The Martian (2015)
Xenolith
by Random_Guise
Sometimes negotiations happen after the fact. Epilogue to the return of the Hermes in the 2015 film "The Martian".
12 Angry Men (1957)
Reasonable Doubt
by Random_Guise
Movieverse. Eleven surviving jurors from the 1957 movie "12 Angry Men" have a reunion to discuss that fateful court case with, shall we say, a slight twist. I don't own these characters, but I have been on a jury before.
Warehouse 13
Schrödinger's Catnip
by Random_Guise
A one-shot that takes place during the third season of Warehouse 13. Myka faces a loss of something dear to her. I don't own these characters, but I have seen a cat show up after being gone for two months.
Monk (TV)
Mr. Monk and the Story with a Hole
by Random_Guise
From the series Monk, Adrian gets his shot at a story with a hole mystery. Set towards the later part of the series. I don't own these characters, but through random chance I did solve a game of Clue on the first turn once.
The Goonies (1985)
Goonies For Life
by Random_Guise
Set 15 years after the 1985 movie "The Goonies", the kids are now grown up and moved on with their lives. They get together for a reunion and discover there just may be another adventure awaiting them. I don't own these characters, and I've only been cave exploring once.
MASH (TV)
Interminable War
by Random_Guise
The characters on the show M*A*S*H are sitting and discussing how war can play tricks on your mind at the 4077. A one-shot that takes place late in the series. I don't own these characters, but I have eaten an old MRE.
Steel Magnolias (1989)
Metal Flora
by Random_Guise
Clairee Belcher and Ouiser Boudreaux are best friends in the 1989 movie "Steel Magnolias", but sometimes you wouldn't know it by the way they talk to each other. It's no different in this short that happens after the events of the film. I don't own these characters, and I wield but don't weld.
Holes (2003)
A potentially explicit work
Delirious (1991)
Deciduous
by Random_Guise
Writer and producer Jack Gable has an accident and wakes up in his own soap opera world in the 1991 movie "Delirious". What happens when his ability to write clearly is affected? I don't own these characters, but I still have a (not quite working) typewriter.
The 'Burbs (1989)
Junk in the Trunk
by Random_Guise
Ray Peterson survived, barely, at the end of the 1989 movie "The 'Burbs" and the Klopeks went to jail. What if instead of human bones the contents of the trunk were different? Just having a little fun. I don't own these characters but I used to live on a cul-de-sac.
WKRP in Cincinnati
Prepared for Thanksgiving
by Random_Guise
It's been one year since the infamous "turkey drop" for Carlson and WKRP in the city of Cincinnati. Will anyone let the big guy forget? This is a very short one-shot for the Thanksgiving holiday. I don't own these characters, and my turkey did not arrive via air delivery.
Cheers (TV)
Homeward Bound
by Random_Guise
Rebecca has an idea for a new bar game at Cheers, and annoys Sam until he agrees to play a Story with a Hole mystery. I don't own these characters, and nobody would know my name if I walked into a bar.
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
Playing It Safe
by Random_Guise
Okay, time to cover the DS9 show with its own short. Guess what, those pesky safety protocols have acted up again on the holosuites, but not quite in the usual way. Near the end of the 3rd season I think. I don't own these characters, and I can barely simulate staying awake sometimes. Spelling (mostly?) fixed. It's a common plot device; the holodeck/holosuite safety protocols are turned off somehow due to equipment error, damage or interference. I understand the use, because it helps move the plot along to have the characters in peril. But I was thinking...I'm sure I've got some technical errors here. I enjoy the series a great deal, but I even spelled "O'Brian" wrong in the first draft and I always seem to get ranks mixed up.
The Tick (TV 2017)
Knife to Know You
by Random_Guise
A short one-shot taking place after the first season of The Tick (2017). Arthur and Tick get a visit from Midnight. I was going to post this in about two months but the trailer for season 2 just dropped so I'm posting it now. I don't own these characters but I do have a dog.
Hogan's Heroes (TV 1965)
Spell It Out
by Random_Guise
It's not like he has to, but Hogan feels Klink needs something special for his birthday and arranges it. I don't own these characters, but I did have a Hogan's Heroes lunchbox once upon a time.
The Big Bang Theory (TV)
I'll Take Dumb for 100
by Random_Guise
The gang goes on a TV quiz show to raise money for their departments when things go a little fowl. I don't own these characters and I'm sure the questions are always easier while you're at home watching.
The Black Hole (1979)
Limbo is More than a Dance
by Random_Guise
A short continuation of the 1979 movie "The Black Hole". Dan, Charlie, Kate and VINCENT sail off in the probe ship from the Cygnus and the credits role. Where did they go? I don't own the characters from the movie and only a black hole could explain how my money disappears so quickly.
