“Peter Parker,” Cindy says. Peter’s head snaps up so fast that it almost looks inhuman. “Did Tony Stark just waltz in and pick up his child in the background of your Zoom call?” Peter freezes. Wide-eyed, with ‘guilty’ written on his forehead in 72, bold, Times New Roman font. It takes a solid thirty seconds before he can put himself together enough to click the unmute button. “I—no?” Peter says. His voice is startlingly high pitched and his expression is nothing short of horrified.Damn, if that isn’t anything but a confession. Or: a day in the life of the quarantined high school spider-kid, as seen through the eyes of his first-period chemistry class.

“Ah, I remember – Ned accidentally put you down as an XL, but I figured he messed up because there’s no way that’s your size, right?” Cindy looked up at him, looking for his agreement on Ned’s obvious mistake, but Peter flushed. “Um, no. XL would be great.” Cindy met his eyes and frowned. “Peter, that’s the same size as Ned. No offense, but you’re a skinny twig. You could probably wear my size.” “I like baggier shirts. It’s a fashion statement.”

Cindy will scream to the heavens until the day she dies that she was the first, and for a time (aside from Ned—the traitor—who denied that he totally had an inside scoop on the matter) the only one on the AcaDec team to witness the fact that Peter Parker is secretly fucking ripped.

“Hey, Puny,” he asked belligerently, leaning forward and stealing something tucked inside the pages of Peter’s book, “who’s that?”

Cindy has known Peter since they were kids. Maybe they've never been friends, per say, the way he and Ned are, but she likes to think she's gotten a pretty good read on him over the years. Oh, how wrong she was.

Peter was 7 when he met Harley. Harley was 10 when he met Peter in the cell of a Hydra base. They promised each other that they'll escape, and live their best lives. Or, Peter and Harley meet during unfortunate circumstances, drop off the map, go homeless for a while, accidentally create a small syndicate consisting of genius teens that catches the eye of Nick Fury, pisses off Nick Fury, cross paths with the Avengers, gets adopted by Tony Stark and learns that life can be pretty okay with the right people around you. Glorified slice of life story filled with a little angst, a lot of fluff, diary entries, and hand-wavy science. Crack with plot and feels basically.Peter and Harley centric, eventual Irondad/Ironfam.

What. The heck. “Please don’t freak out,” the other Spider-man blurts, holding up his hands in a wary gesture. “I saw what some of those friends of yours could do and I absolutely do not need you bringing them down on my head, so- please- don’t.” Previously frozen, Peter’s breath suddenly seems to whoosh out of his lungs all at once. “What. The heck.”

So, Flash had , for some stupid reason , decided that he would confront Peter over what happened last night. He should have known that nothing would go the way he wanted. Maybe cooking up a story and maintaining the facade of a harmless teenager would've been easier if he wasn't so busy trying to dodge bullets - literally- and subdue his attackers. Stupid school shooters! Couldn't they choose some other day to come to his school? Any day except this one would have been fine.Peter has to finally face the storm he unknowingly raised. He just hoped that the mask he wore remained intact by the time everything was over.

Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy both got bitten, weeks apart, and one additional Spider-Person in New York made the world shift to accomodate the change. They kept their identities a secret—even from each other—but when Tony Stark showed up and whisked Peter off to Germany, things got complicated.Peter wanted to be an Avenger. Gwen did not. Tony never had a headache like them.

Cindy: Alright, so I know this might sound crazy, but it's really not that far-fetched. You know how Peter just disappears for no good reason? And how he's always making up some bad excuse to make sense of those disappearances? And how he's always coming into school late, usually sporting some black eye or bruise covered up with really bad makeup? And, guys - the Stark internship. Look me in the eye and tell me that's not sus. Cindy: Guys? Cindy: Guys? Cindy: I know you're ignoring me. It won't work. I will literally annoy you into submission if you don't answer me within the next five seconds. Cindy: Okay, seriously. You've got five seconds to answer, or I promise you won't sleep for the next ten days. I'll make sure of it. _The trials and tribulations of One Cindy Moon and Her Idiotic Friends as she attempts to convince them that Peter Parker is, in fact, Spider-Man. As told from Cindy's iPhone (mostly) and abetted by the (occasional) help of third-person.
