He looked so...weird. Without the armor, he didn’t recognize himself. He turned to the side to see how the long tunic moved around his knees and was agitated to find it stiff and awkward. It wasn’t supposed to be stiff and awkward. It was supposed to drape and flail out with each step. He pursed his lips and turned further, then gave a half-pivot. The tunic moved like a staggering drunk. It would not do. (Din makes himself a set of clothes from his childhood.)

You give me a feeling

There’s something lonely about the sunsets on Tatooine. Cobb Vanth persuades him to stay for a little celebration in Mos Pelgo, and then for the evening. Din's heart doesn't need much convincing. Pure, unrepentant fluff.

"And there was a guy stood in the middle of the aisle, staring at baby toys like they had personally ruined his life. Cobb didn’t think he had ever seen a guy look so concentrated on toys before – and he’d seen a lot of weird shit in this store. But goddammit, store policy was to ask every customer-“Hey there, can I help you?”(aka, a silly Christmas meet-cute that brought me great joy to write)
