Yes, it was a kids movie made all the way back in 2006 when Tim Allen and Courteney Cox were still slightly relevant. Is the fact that no one cares about this film to this day going to stop me from writing about it? No. Because this is now my own story. If you're interested in developing characters, pursuing neglected romantic subplots, and introducing plausible backstories, then you've certainly come to the right place. Years after a disastrous falling out that saw to the end of the second generation Zenith Team, all characters from the 2006 movie Zoom: Academy for Superheroes are back at Area 52, giving it a second go. Jack Shepard is newly decorated and returns with a brand new mindset, but the children are slow to warm to him. Even slower to forgive him for his abandonment and subsequent ruin of her career is the team's psychologist, Marsha Holloway. The hatred between her and Jack soon creates a hostile environment as the team attempts to rebuild themselves before their grand debut. To make matters more complicated, Jack intends on finding a wife before Captain Zoom once again becomes the face of America.This story follows the children as they come of age, Jack as he searches for a wife, Marsha as she navigates a rocky relationship, introduces interesting new characters, and tells the tale of a warzone created by the passionate hatred simmering between Jack and Marsha, who once made a great team of allies.The second season of Julia Styles' Bridgerton on Netflix was a great inspiration to this parallel works, some dialogue and concepts are entirely belonging to her writing and the Netflix adaptation of it.
