After Elena's death, everyone turned their backs on Giotto. All of them blaming him for her death and helping each other mourned except for him. They ignored Giotto's pleas for forgiveness and attention, leaving him to wallow in self despair and neglecting his own health. While everyone's treatment to Giotto are looking at him with accusing eyes and talking behind his back. Daemon Spade, Elena's lover, treatment to him is far more worse. He directly told Giotto that he blames him for his death, even going as far to emotionally and psychologically abuse him whilst the other guardians turned a blind eye to Daemon's treatment to him. Never once did they think about the consequences of their actions. Now, everything they did is biting back at them, and they could only pray to whatever deity out there for their sky to wake up.
