There is an island near Italy where being quirkless is the norm. Some people come as tourists, enjoying the sun and beaches. Some people, like a certain Midoriya Inko fresh from a devastating doctor’s visit for her son, come to escape a society ruled by quirks.Izuku thrives, and while his dreams turn away from heroes, he hopes to one day become part of the soldiers who guard and protect the island’s citizens, despite the fact that having a quirk is almost a prerequisite for the job. That doesn’t stop him from trying, however.Hard work pays off in the end. Records are scrubbed and corrected, and Il Sole fills a spot that had previously been blank all his life.
