A Court of Family Secrets - ACOSF
by flamesandshadows
When Feyre finds out that Rhys and the Inner Circle have hidden the truth about her pregnancy complications from her, she leaves home and searches for answers and support elsewhere. Along the way, she finds out that she's not the only one whose family has been keeping secrets. The ramifications of her decision extend all the way to Autumn and Day, with far reaching consequences. The Night Court will also be forever changed as Feyre comes fully into her own power as High Lady, building alliances and an agenda of her own.A partial rewrite of ACOSF that kicks off with Feyre's pregnancy storyline, and diverges from the moment Nesta reveals the deception to her. I'm planning a rewrite of Nesta's full story in ACOSF, so she'll just make appearances here.Themes of pregnancy termination, pregnancy loss, child abuse, abuse of adult children, and death in childbirth will be discussed.

A decade has passed since their first Winter Solstice together; ten years since they decided they would try for a baby. But just as the High Lady of the Night Court is about to give up on the idea of the firstborn she saw in the Bone Carver, Feyre feels the glimmer of a new bond.

A Court of Truth and Healing
by flamesandshadows
After returning home from Under the Mountain, everyone is struggling to cope with the trauma of Amarantha's reign. Rhys lingers in the shadows at the Spring Court, concerned about Feyre's mental health, and his presence spurs events to unfold in unexpected ways. The plot covers the events of A Court of Mist and Fury with major alterations. In this AU, we see what could have happened if characters were honest with each other, and talked things out rather than speaking in riddles or just avoiding topics altogether. We also get some actual apologies for egregious behavior that got glossed over in canon (looking at you, Rhys Under the Mountain) and big reveals that get put off to later books or not at all (looking at you, Lucien's paternity).Relationships in this AU are fully consensual rather than based on bargains made under duress, half-truths, or huge power imbalances, so romances that had an enemies-to-lovers flavor feel more like friends to lovers.

One Week (ACOMAF)
by flamesandshadows
Rhys calls in his bargain with Feyre, whisking her away from her wedding. Their bargain gives him one week to show her who he really is, what his court is all about, and he decides to make the most of it.Rhys's actions at the beginning of ACOMAF don't make a whole lot of sense. By the time he shows up to crash Feyre's wedding, the mating bond has snapped into place for him. Presumably he wants to win her over and show her a broader picture than what she knows of his court, and of him personally. He also wants her to help him with the threat from Hybern, which would be another reason to at least try to be nice to her. Yet he spends a lot of their early interactions taunting her and arguing with her, if not outright insulting her. Seeing how nice he was to Gwyn and other characters later on, it seems doubly weird that he's such a jerk to Feyre, especially knowing how traumatized she was and how fragile her mental health is at that moment. This fic imagines what it would be like if Rhys made a concerted effort to win Feyre over during her very first visit to the Night Court, rather than having a few uncomfortable reading/shielding lessons with her and then leaving her alone during most of that time.
