I - like inspiring

by HASA Workshop

The Alphabet of Middle-earth: Writing Cues for the "Back to Middle-earth Month 2007" "The Alphabet of Middle-earth" is a series of short cues to inspire you throughout B2MeM. We invite you to pick up any cue, any time and to post your take as a comment for the relevant entry at the LiveJournal Community "There and Back Again". Write a drabble, a drouble, a tribble, a quabble or a quibble! Write 100, 200, 300, 400 or 500 words! No matter if it's serious or silly, anything goes. And here is already the next cue: I - like inspiring Ilúvatar.

Half of Nothing

by Lobo_Loca

Prompt: "Hobbit are indeed, related to Men. Actually, they are the “first” Men- the first try, and a bad one. Eru doesn't love them, but he did not have heart to destroy them either, no matter if they were not what he was expecting. Instead, he hid them away. And in the green hills the hobbits learn how to grow and live on their own. Because if your own father doesn't want you, who will? - Could be super sad, or maybe another Valar adopts them and things get better." A revised version of an anonymous fill I posted on the kinkmeme. Veered off prompt a bit, focusing more on the Valar than the Hobbits and with added Dwarves.

Day 11 Ada

by ofplanet_earth

“A beautiful, half-elven girl with dark hair and blue eyes. I have seen her; she comes to me in dreams. She calls me Ada.” The blue of Thranduil’s eyes met his and suddenly, Bard could see her, too. She was fair and elegant like Thranduil, but dark and reckless, like he was.

Of Melkor and the Creation of Orcs

by candles_and_moths

To Melkor among the Ainur had been given the greatest gifts of power and knowledge, and he had a share in all the gifts of his brethren. He had gone often alone into the void places seeking the Imperishable Flame; for desire grew hot within him to bring into Being things of his own, and it seemed to him that Ilúvatar took no thought for the Void, and he was impatient of its emptiness…  …for Aulë was most like himself in thought and in powers; The Silmarillion - JRR Tolkien

O wybranych przez

by oEllenao
