Abaddon takes this task as seriously as expected. — Esther probably should’ve thought about her answer more, after all she knows all too well that sometimes Abaddon takes things too literally or misunderstands because a saying means something different in hell than on earth, but in her defence her brain’s working overtime just to get the words out at all! “As cold as you can get it,” she mumbles out. Esther tells herself that she’s just resting her eyes for a few minutes. The last thing she hears is Abaddon saying, very seriously, “very well. I will not rest until I get you the coldest water possible,” and the doors to the cupboard opening and softly closing.
