Equilibrate

by AuthorinExile

The Dragonborn: a fierce man with the heart of a warrior, the mind of a conqueror, and the ancient soul of a dragon. He is the Nordic ideal in every conceivable way. He is honorable, proud, and mighty, attracting friends and foes alike in vast quantities. He was also blessed with a fantastic ass.Sadly, this is not his story.No. This is the story of the one other idiot too lucky to get eaten.You.Welcome to Skyrim.

Equilibrants

by AuthorinExile

You might be the only other idiot too lucky to die in Helgen, but you aren't the only survivor in this batshit-crazy country. Not everything's about you, ya know. ~~~~~~Things you didn't see in the main work or didn't understand from the perspectives of your friends. All of this is canon for Equilibrate, and it won't make much sense if you don't read it in the context of the series.

You Named It, “The Reckoning” (In Your Perfect Notebook Lettering)

by ildottoreapologist

It’s been a few weeks since Faendal left Riverwood following a unexpected night spent burying the hatchet together, when Sven receives a letter from him. It’s short and not particularly awe-inspiring, as the elf is no poet, but Sven finds himself eagerly awaiting each new instalment. Which could mean nothing. (recommend reading the first fic in this series for context as to why they no longer hate each other)

Questing, As One Does

by AteanaLenn

Harry steps through the new portal with barely a second glance. He visits the closest village, which turns out to be "Riverwood, built on land owned by the Jarl in Whiterun". He also gains an elven follower and sets out on a quest, as one does.

Speaking With Silence -

My personal head-canon of what happens after the 'Speaking With Silence' quest in the Thieves Guild story. (apologies for the lame title, I really can't think of anything better)

cedarsmoke

by swarmsoflizards

Faendal had heard about the wolf before the bounty went up. It was living in the woods somewhere, alone, and had been growing bolder as the weather turned. It finally killed a couple of chickens the other night, and that must have been the last straw, because Orgnar posted a bounty notice for it the next morning.  After Sven accidentally shoots Faendal in the foot, the two spend some quality time together.

You Called It, “The Reckoning” (And Your Voice Came Through Unquestioning)

by ildottoreapologist

Riverwood was, by Skyrim’s standards, a rather quiet settlement. Quiet enough, it seemed, that a single escaped prisoner was all it took to completely upend the life Sven had built for himself. But maybe, as he’d discover over a shared bottle of wine with an elf that a few weeks ago he would’ve happily slugged in the face, that wasn’t necessarily such a terrible thing.
