.CHAPTER 4 BACK IS NEW. UPDATED ON SEPTEMBER 16, 2020 Post season 6, canon compliant story where Quinn survives season 6 finale and, with some help, manages to get a chance at that elusive normal life he's always wanted. Away from the Agency and the missions, for a little over three years he's been working hard to rebuild his health, keep a job, and try to live out the rest of his life doing some good, with no hope or agenda aside from finding a small, well-deserved measure of peace. That is until something happens, and he realizes he was a fool to believe he could escape the pull of the darkness. Reassured once again he has no place among normal people, he's determined to go back to the person he was before, leaving everything he's built in the last three years behind. He does so believing he's keeping a promise to an old friend. Until he realizes he's been trying to keep the wrong promise, and is forced to stay, step up, face his demons, and deal with them.

the way i left was not the way i planned
by ihopethatyouburn
"A book, of course, has the added benefit of being a perfect cover to shield her from suspicion, to finally shake her Russian surveillance detail and set her up to develop assets. If she has to destroy every remaining shred of goodwill she has with the US intelligence community, at least she can benefit from it later. And wasn’t that what Saul taught her, that the long game was the most important thing above all else? That self-sacrifice was worthwhile if you later had something to show for it?"A reflection on motherhood, legacy, and Carrie's first few months in Moscow.

"PSTDs"
by AZ-5 (elim_garak)
The sound of Roy clearing his throat brings his increasingly frantic reverie to a screeching halt. Right eyebrow pinched up, the PA looks at his patient. “You don’t mean—” Luna bobs her head in sheer enthusiasm. “Yeah! PSTDs! He does! Like when soldiers come home and they’re afraid of loud noises and bright lights!” Closing his eyes, Quinn laughs a kiss into her temple. “She means—” “Gotcha.”
