But when Smaug attacks Erebor, Frerin finds himself deep within the mountain with no way of escape. Accompanied by a few lucky survivors, he must take up the role of leadership and learn how to keep his people alive in the bowels of the Lonely Mountain - and hopefully, find a way to escape. Trouble, however, comes not just from their reptilian neighbor and the dangers of uncharted caverns, but from within the group itself, as concerns arise questioning a fifteen-year-old prince's ability to lead the last of the Dwarves of Erebor.
