But Shin and eventually Shuu left the estate, and in an unfortunate turn of events, Jyou's father is reluctantly forced to make Jyou the heir to the family's estate and fortune. Jyou is ecstatic - this is the first time his father has shown an interest in his life and it proves he values him.But as time goes on, Jyou realizes this may not be what he wanted after all.Due to his father's control over his life, Jyou misses out on the Chosen's call to the Digital World. He later reluctantly joins them when it turns out he is the missing eighth Chosen.
