However, in the realm of StarClan, a Dark Forest cat drowns him in a strange lake, sending him to a strange second dimension where he is with Half Moon, back in the Tribe of Rushing Water. Stone Song is the Stoneteller, and Fallen Leaves has died in the caves. However, this time, although Jayfeather (Now Jay's Wing) is pleased that he can experience love for the first time, he realizes that there are challenges in this new life. Massive eagles, evil spirits, and looming shadows chase the Tribe of Rushing Water, and Jayfeather is the only one who can fix this.
