Jake had thought it was funny too, how someone as quiet as Rasmus would end up with someone who’s first words to him were part of an excessively long, unintelligible babble. He climbed out of bed, tossed on some sweatpants, and walked out to the living room and was quickly reminded of a few things. One, Rasmus sleeps in just his boxer briefs that tend to be really short and tight. Two, he tends to just toss on a sweatshirt and walk around like that. Three, his hair looks like duck fluff and those things together all mean that Jake probably stared longer than he should have at the Finn while he was making pancakes. "You like pancakes right? You said they were your favourite once." Jake didn't know how to respond to that.

Which Rasmus knew deep down. He just figured he messed up bad enough that he didn’t want anything to do with him anymore. Jake wasn’t the type to just take off and not talk. If anything, he was the opposite. He talked too much sometimes.

Have you ever looked at someone and just wondered what kissing them would be like? Jake always did that, looking to see if he could pinpoint what type of kisser they are based on their personality. He figured that Jack was intense and competitive. Sam would be soft and gentle, taking care of his partner. Marco would be the type to dip someone first before kissing him, just based on the stories he’s told. Rasmus. Well, Jake didn’t even know where to begin to think about how he’d kiss. Would he be rough or gentle, or would it just be a mess. Jake was sure it would be perfect, if he could get that chance.

It was a valid question and easier to face than coming out to the team. “It looks fake, yes.” Rasmus beamed at him, a small laugh forming. Jake swiped the silly beret he always wears off his head and tossed it towards the rink.
