Eddie Spaghetti once said, "Rock and roll keeps you in a constant state of juvenile delinquency." That would explain a lot, as the dynamic within the band can only be described as a decidedly more aggressive version of The Breakfast Club. Namely: a lot of banter—most of which involves a lot of stinging and acerbic one-liners that are just waiting to be immortalized by the internet, enough hijinks to send any authority figure running, and a whole lot of waffles. (or, the band au no one asked for but which I wrote anyway)

This also means that Van Eck never kidnapped Inej at the end of Six of Crows, instead just kidnapping Kaz.This was for Day 18 of Whumptober for the prompt "muffled scream", although its more of a muffled groan because I don't think Kaz is much of a screamer.

Long story short, the guns were hanging over the back of the chair too. Under the coat.”Wylan’s heart was racing. “So where is the coat now, Nina?”, he asked, probably louder than necessary. He still felt like the boy who would sit in his father’s office, choking on his own sobs every Thursday afternoon. He still felt like the boy who had learned to respond to the question “Who are you?” with “I am an idiot, sir.” He still felt like the boy who missed the warm embrace of his mother in the winter, when the chill of the outside world would seep in through his window and she would sing quiet lullabies.
