He’s from the Fire Nation.” Katara frowns at him. “Jet, we know.” Jet gapes at her. “You—?” The blind earthbender hops down from her perch at the counter, wanders over to join her friends and Lee. “’Course we know,” she says with a wide grin, and punches Lee on the arm. He glares at her. Tui tries to keep her brother from doing something irreparable but instead joins him.When Zuko is thirteen he agrees to becoming the vessel for Vaatu, the great spirit of chaos, becoming the first Avatar of his kind and inadvertently causing a divergence of destiny. Alternatively: a complete demolition and reckless disregard of canon, a copious amount of worldbuilding, and finding hidden fallacies all while trying to just end the war. In other words, creating chaos.
