Cycling RPF
twenty year olds know
by rowey
Something so nice, that if Luke allowed himself to he could consider it love, had been turned into a shameful secret. It wouldn't have been so bad at all if one of them was simply a girl from back home.

Genuine
by jungjeons
If he’s honest with himself (and he’s trying to be, dammit), then if Felix has noticed him looking, it’s probably because Luke has been wanting him to notice.

I turned my face away
by persikoiste
Besides, it’s not like he’s going to leave G’s life forever, or anything. But, he supposes, when you’ve spent the amount of time they’ve spent together, it’s strange to even imagine anything else. Luke isn’t leaving him, really, but it feels like he is. Surely, it’s normal that it feels like that. Surely, it’s normal to feel like the world is going to stop turning.

by rowey
Luke tilts his head. "You're not going to leave us, are you?""I just thought you two'd want..." Swifty shrugs, trailing off, but Luke takes the bottle from him, and points to a spot on the bed next to Geraint, who in turn pats it invitingly.

youre one of my kind
by rowey
Geraint's glad to finally get to his phone. He knows Luke's been spamming him with his personal running commentary of the race, because that's precisely what he's done for the past two days.

by rowey
It's just like when G would count the potholes on their street, and Luke wouldn't wait for him when he inevitably lost count and had to start all over again.
Cycling RPF
wish fulfilment
by rowey
The only logical conclusion to catching your best mates kissing at the back of the bus: join in. (Eventually). (In a roundabout, Swifty sort of way).

if i just lay here would
by rowey
It would all be somewhat easier to reckon with if Geraint could point to a moment in his childhood, or a culmination of moments, where it had started, but he can't.

this is getting good now
by rowey
"I'm just passing by," Luke says, on his way to the kitchen after stepping out of his trainers. "D'you have any coffee?"It gives G a good laugh, and a distant thought that he wishes Luke would come home to him more often. Visit, he corrects, but it leaves a sad feeling in his stomach.
