Stan doesn't really want to do this, but Dipper is offering to pay, and he says his brother is in trouble. Stanley will always help Stanford, no matter what shit has happened in the past, so he sets off. Stanford Pines, age 26, wakes up in his house to a teenage girl chatting with his friend, Fiddleford McGucket. The girl- Mabel, supposedly- knows all about his muse and their dalliances because she is, also supposedly, his great-niece from the future. While he does not want to reunite with Stanley necessarily, she essentially blackmails him into being nice when he arrives. Because apparently Stanley is coming to his house. Joy. (Dipper and Mabel, on the eve of their 18th birthday, are sent back in time to their Grunkles 1 year before the portal is completed. They both, separately and then together, work to fix the mistakes of the past. Featuring a matchmaking Mabel and a scam artist icon Dipper.)
