Ayyy this story is inspired by this post from Tumblr (Which I tweaked slightly):A character getting extremely motionsick on a drive and refusing to speak up- because, well this just never happens to them! It's so weird! They get more and more nauseated and dizzy and finally speak up- voice cracking and low- that theyre feeling pretty shitty. The rest of the car worries and fusses, and the character just begs them to not fuss and especially dont tell them to relax because that just makes it worse. The car eventually gets to its destination and the character is doing real rough. They get out and sit with their head between their knees on the ground, lay down, and just walk around slowly trying to shake it. Someone eventually just pulls the character to lay with their head in said person’s lap.Covering the character’s eyes and stroking a hand across their back and forehead- they realize the character has a fever.
