Useful Information
by StarryFairyJedi
Merrin and Cal go on a mission together to meet up with a partisan spy to retrieve information about the Empire. But Merrin doesn't know much about life outside of Dathomir. So naturally, some confusion occurs: “Last name?” Merrin asks, confused. “Yes dear, what’s your family name?” The seller asks.Family name...Merrin didn’t have one of those. But someone who did was standing nearby!“Kestis!” She blurts out as soon as the thought pops into her head. Upon hearing Merrin give his last name to the seller, claiming it was hers, he nearly dropped the droid part he purchased and BD-1 let out a series of surprised beeps. “So your name is Merrin Kestis?” The seller asks. “Y-yes.” Merrin says and looks at Cal who’s face was turning nearly as red as his hair. And she and Cal wind up pretending to be married, and through that learn each other's true feelings for each other.

Loppy
by AzuraJae
Merrin jerked her head around as she heard a loud startled trill, followed by a thud. Confused, she followed the sounds of worried chirps and beeps to one of the other rooms to see that Cal was on the ground on his side. His tiny droid friend was bumping his head against his shoulder, whooping at him worriedly as he tried to get him up. Cal’s hand was clawed around a miserable looking pink soft cloth creature. It reminded Merrin of the sacrificial dolls the Nightsisters would use sometimes for spells, but much cuter, though it looked like it had seen better days.“Cal?” She asked him worriedly, kneeling over his unconscious form. “Are you well?” He did not respond. His eyes were scrunched close and he looked like he was shivering, though it was much more violent than any shivering Merrin has seen. Cal was definitely unconscious, but his body was jolting around in strange otherworldly movements. Her magick told her that Cal was still alive and not physically ill, but the smell of tragedy she sensed earlier was stronger here than it was outside. Cal seems distressed by it, perhaps?

New Beginnings

Merrin held out her hands, and Trilla put her own in hers. “Trilla, all of us who have been on this ship, we have been a part of something terrible. I believe that all of us are upset over something, and we just don’t want to show it because we think it’s too painful for others. For those of us who live on the Mantis, we want to help each other learn from their grief and to support them, even at their worst. Okay?” She smiled weakly, looking into Trilla’s eyes to make sure she was paying attention.((INDEFINITE HIATUS)) even tho its been a super super long time, I still want to at least finish this one. I had a super bad writers block and fight scenes are hard

Understanding thrills through the Second Sister—what Cal Kestis has awoken here by chance, what’s slumbered among the unquiet dead, waiting. A survivor. The taste of metal floods her mouth; her gloves creak as her hands clench. Laughter escapes her, flat and humorless and long, ricocheting along the close walls. “No,” she swears, allowing the venom into her voice, the hate to curdle in the air, met and devoured, as it always is, by the Dark. “Not a Jedi. Look closer.” —The Second Sister goes to Dathomir in search of Cal Kestis. She finds something entirely unexpected.
