His apprentice, as Medivh had discovered a few weeks ago, much to Moroes and his amusement, had only been capable of transforming himself into a tiny, fluffy little raven. The image of the baby bird squawking miserably and bouncing around Medivh’s meticulously groomed hair, plucking out the bright pink rollers, had Moroes in – dignified, by the by – stitches.“This is not funny!” the mage snapped. “This, this is a matter of, of life and death!”“With all due respect, sir, it is a matter of a baby raven and your hair, not life and death.”Medivh ignored his old friend's dry quip. It weren’t just the visual cues - Khadgar began to notice that most of the time, he could feel whatever Medivh was feeling. Even more than that - during the past few weeks, he was even able to catch glimpses of whatever his Master had been thinking about. Of course, Khadgar could never tell exactly what his exact thought process was, but he could sometimes sense the general concepts or ideas. It wasn’t a particularly strong sensation, he had to really concentrate for it to work, but it was there - dim and muffled, like listening to a hushed conversation through a thick wall.
