Warlock rolled his eyes, and left off the ‘please’ as he repeated, “Take me to the Halloween haunted house tonight! Don’t worry, Brother Francis can come too, if you want. Can we go? Adam had been thinking about it all night, and he announced the next morning that they would almost certainly have to anger him. He suggested either scratching the Bentley or making fun of Aziraphale. Warlock strongly objected to both tactics, saying that awakening The Beast would not be worth it if they both ended up dead.
