Picard leaned forward, brows furrowed, “Someone else is on this ship?”“I’m not sure,” Troi said honestly, “it is almost familiar, but these emotions are unlike any I have ever felt from another person. They're so new, like a baby developing their emotions, yet some of them feel stale, like they have been repressed or locked away.”Or: Troi searches for an unknown emotional presence and Data conducts an experiment.

Picard realised two things at about the same time. The first was that although the hull seemed to be breached they were not all being sucked out into the vacuum of space. The second was that the vessel shaped like an early twentieth century automobil was coming towards the ship at very high speed, and it was. Not. Slowing. Down.He raised his hand to contact the bridge and order the shields up but it was too late the vessel was already here. Speeding into his ship and coming to a stop just inside the room.Ten Forward wasn't always big enough to accommodate such a vessel was it? Well it must have been since it was obviously big enough now.The Captain took a breath and adjusted his uniform. “Well…” He began but then the vessel’s black door opened and a humanoid with startling red hair and equally startling yellow eyes climbed out and sauntered forward. He took in the room. “Lord Beelzebub” He said upon noticing Guinan. “Nice dress.”“Guinan.” She told him with a tight smile.

Picard and Laris talk about love and life. Will Picard go after the woman he REALLY wants? If he does, how will she respond? - This was inspired by another piece I saw recently and the specter of Beverly in season 3 of Picard. I think there will be more but I felt this could stand as a one-shot if my muse goes on holiday!

Picard wakes up in a comfortable bed in new york. The rain is hitting the windows, the nightlight of the city softly illuminates the room and the smell of coffee fills the air. All in all, it would’ve been a very calm early morning. Except he didn’t remember entering the holodeck, no, he was supposed to be commanding the enterprise.Set after the events of the Never-ending trial!
