Swore I Could Feel You Through The Walls
by guyonhotelwifi
Dear Reader,Hello! My name is guyonhotelwifi, and I’m new here. I’ve been feeling fairly creatively dry for the past several months, so I thought I should try something like this. I’ve been a huge fan of Daniel Mullins’ games and specifically Inscryption for a few years, and I’ve actually tried writing stories based on some characters a few years back, but it never really panned out into anything. But here I am, a few years later, ready to keep working. To be honest, I’m a little intimidated. This website, I know, has a voracious, tightly knit community of people that I am not apart of. I have, of course, read a lot of stuff on here, but I’ve never interacted with anyone or really written anything I thought was worth posting. So I’m nervous, and I just hope someone out there likes what I write.I’m writing (mostly) about Inscryption, a game by Daniel Mullins released in 2021. The issue with this is that much of the story isn’t revealed in the actual game. The characters all are, but a lot of the lore is hard to follow because much of it comes from a series of ARGs and hidden clues that some very hardworking people found years ago. I’ll give most of the credit for the stuff that I found to YouTubers like Flawed Peacock, Jeck0_0, and Flemmonade. Their research and timelines have been invaluable to me as I work on this project, and I highly recommend their content if you, like me, enjoy video essays about this kind of thing. Now, with that said, despite all the research I’ve done, I may get a few minor aspects of the story wrong according to the canon of the game. I want to be as accurate as possible, so if you find something wrong with something I’ve written, please let me know so I can revise. For all intents and purposes, this story is meant to have taken place after the events of the game of Inscryption. That’s all! Please enjoy my story, and stick with me as I write it. I'll try to update tags as things progress. Thanks for reading. This is a love story.-guyonhotelwifi, January 2026
