Shortly before the hunchbacks twenty first birthday, a mishap at the Feast of Fools puts a handsome gypsy, Esmerald, in the line of fire. Can anything be done to save him before Frollo's lust overcomes her?

A Man
by Imagi77
Despite it being my most favorite Disney film, I have a few problems with a fact. The ending was rushed and Quasimodo seemed to not grieve over the man who made such an impact (negatively, for the most part) in his life. Not even a response or reaction that the man who raised him and had used him had fallen to his death. That was one thing that bothered me. So I dug in a little bit.

But, when the Spanish Inquisition comes breaking down her door one day, her tenuously peaceful life becomes a living hell. Madellaine reflects on her relationship with Quasimodo moments before her betrayal. A one-shot, told in 1st person POV, though I might make it longer in the future. An exercise in writing in the 1st person POV, something I've not really done yet. Please Read and Review if you enjoyed!
