Raffi straightened up when she got to the closed door of the conference room. She wasn’t entirely sure what to expect, but she wanted to go into it with her most professional foot forward.She pressed the button to open the door and as soon as she got a view of the inside, her professional front dropped and she stepped in, closing the door behind her. Seven was sitting at the conference table with stacks of PADDs all around her and an annoyed look on her face. “What happened?”Seven stood up when she realized Raffi had materialized inside of the room and then softened a bit when she realized they were alone and the door was closed. Her harried look faded and she let out a relieved smile. “You accepted.”Raffi didn’t want to tell Seven that she’d follow her anywhere, but she figured Seven already knew or she wouldn’t have offered the position in the first place. “Of course.”
