It was Friday and the class was about to be over and that only meant one thing... weekend! So when it was over, all the class went out, thinking of what they'd do in the weekend. This was especially true with Ralphie, but then he stopped, having the sensation he forgot something. Muttering an all too familiar phrase (Is it just me, or I'm forgetting something?), he checks his backpack and finds the Portable Shrinkerscope in there, remembering he borrowed it from Mrs. Frizzle that day and forgot to return it. So he rushes to the classroom to return it, but accidentally sets the device off and shrinks her with it. After being temporary unaware, he finally spots her, at first shocked, but then amazed at how tiny she is, even though this was not the first time, and being tiny is not new to Mrs. Frizzle. In fact, Mrs. Frizzle doesn't seem fazed by this development and suggests Ralphie take not only the device, but also her, home with him. Ralphie's heard of Teacher's Pet before... but Pet Teacher?
