Revali, an arrogant and sassy city boy, moves to the small sub-artic village of Rito to set up his business as a bush pilot who transports scientists and mountaineers through the dangerous Hebra wilds in the furthest northern reaches of the country. Life is pretty simple (AKA boring) until he starts working with a quiet researcher sent from the University of Central Hyrule who is seemingly insane enough to brace the rough tundra alone. Revali spends his time now caught between worrying about the idiot and being utterly floored at his nonsensical (and sometimes feral) antics.

Revali has been having *issues* lately and he is finally beginning to grow concerned. Now he doesn’t usually like to admit his own flaws, not even to himself, (which of course are few and far in-between), but there comes a time where even HE must, with great reluctance, address certain personal matters when they grow pressing enough. Which this one has. After much deliberation, he may be able to concede that there is a distinct and very real possibly that he is losing his goddess-damned plucking mind... -A story in which Revali grows increasingly more obsessed with shiny things and he Doesn't. Know. Why. (he also grows closer to a certain chosen hero in the meantime. No correlation... Probably)

Revali, aka controversial user birdistheword, and Link, aka BNF themasterknight, have been in a feud of sorts from the beginning. (Sort of, because it would be more accurate to say that Revali has been feuding with a grudging Link, who will readily acknowledge that Revali is a dick but has no interest in interacting with him, like, at all.) The problem is that Revali has the smallest bit of a crush on Link. Mostly a writing thing, barely anything at all, really, but it's a seed of something, and that's enough.

Revali had been chosen to pilot a gigantic mechanical bird in the name of Hyrule. While he prepares himself to fight for the protection of Hyrule he couldn't help but grow to loathe the destined Hero, Link. However as time passes and (as Revali is somewhat forced to spend time with Link) those feelings change to something less like hatred and something more...loving.

A hundred years after the fall of Hyrule to Calamity Ganon, and the hero Link has finally sealed the darkness and freed the Divine Beasts of their curse - and with it, their pilots are finally free. But not just as spirits. Awake once again, the four Champions of old have a second chance at life and must re-adjust to this future world with their decendants. Well - all except for one Champion, who doesn't have a decentant. Or even anyone left alive that knew him. Teba is happy to take in his revived ancient idol as one of his own, but sharing a living space with a hundred year old Champion with an ego the size of his divine beast and who might have some issues he's not willing to share can be a lot sometimes and they don't always see eye to eye. Revali thinks he should return to leading the new generation of Rito warriors. Teba thinks this actual child should never have been leading warriors or fighting a war in the first place. Tulin is just excited to have the infamous Rito Champion in his house. (Completed)
