It's Similar But It Hurts
by TheDarkestSunshine
"So what do you have there?"Riley watched as Ash slightly perked up while unraveling the bundle of fabric to reveal...An Egg. A Pristine White egg with blue splotches all over... A Riolu egg he realized. And Ash was staring at the egg with a mixture of sadness and helplessness. 'I Don't- They Gave me- I Need your help, Riley.'The word They were the main thing that repeat in his head. "Wait-wait, I'm Sorry but did You just Say... 'They' Gave you the egg?" He frowned and a glance at Lucario and he could see the pokemon brows furrowed in anger."They-! I'm sorry...They gave you a Lucario Egg, even though you can't handle even seeing one straight in the eyes." Ash only gave a helpless nod in return. "Why?!" The Staraptor that Ash was riding before came to rub its beak against its trainer in comfort. 'They said it's important.'"More than your mental health?!" Ash tensed at the tone of his voice before shrugging again. 'They said sorry...'"Yeah, because when the Universe gives you something that could break your mind just saying Sorry is enough."

The Third Wheel
by Ethan_Dust
Cyrus' plan atop Mt. Coronet succeeded. What does Arceus do about it? Send Ash back in time to try again, of course, this time with an insurance policy. I did not agree to this. Oh well. Might as well nudge Ash in the right direction and have some fun while I'm at it. Did I mention that I'm a Pokémon now? I just hope I'm not a third wheel in the grand scheme of things. Insert/TF
