This part, A New Perspective, A New Meaning, is a continuation of the first part, A New Life, A New Perspective. Miles Quaritch and his family had been on the run from the RDA ever since making a deal with the devil (Ardmore). In this next sequel, the distraction of the Hapxi Clan is prominent, urging them to flee and find safety somewhere else. We touch back with the Wind Traders, as well as the Sully family. A Desert clan, known as the Tìryasìp Clan, is introduced, providing refuge for the surviving members of the disaster. The RDA does not give up, sending their own new fleet of Recombinant Na'vi who have never been introduced in the story out to complete the new mission of kidnapping the Na'vi children. Amongst these recoms, we quickly realize that Paz Socorro was brought back to life via Na'vi biology. After multiple failed attempts from RDA to take the children, the adults of the strayed Recom group realize that the human boys, Spider Socorro and Blake Ardmore, require protection via linking with Avatar bodies made from High Camp-- whom they ally with through Jake Sully. As the story continues, we meet yet another clan, the Vaylora Clan-- a winter clan, found by characters who sought to find their cubs.
