He has to take down his villainous father, All for One, no matter how much it hurts. Basically, I looked at some fan theories about Dr Tsubasa, All for One, and Izuku and then decided, 'Hey, I want to make a fic!" The first arc is finished! And it can be read as a standalone fic. He was too afraid to move. Too afraid to breathe, as the illusion enveloped him. Ashido’s constant chattering faded away. The weight of Aizawa’s watchful gaze lifted from his shoulders. “Izuku,” The desk. The chair. The TV in front of him. The scent of blood. His own blood. The sound of life support, the beeping and mechanical breathing. “Sit down.” He was sitting on the chair suddenly, hyperventilating. Fear clogged his airways, as his father took his time walking around the desk. A black notebook and a pencil sat on the desk now, but he didn’t reach for them. Izuku knew not to reach for them. His back was littered with scars from the last time. His father stopped right behind him and put his hands on the back of the chair, his knuckles digging into Izuku’s back. His entire body tensed. His father leaned down to whisper in his ear, and a remote materialized from his hand. A video began to play. “Tell me what you see, my boy,” All for One smiled. “You have one chance. Sixty seconds. Tell me their Quirks. Tell me how to kill them," — Or, the UA final consists of facing off with an illusion Quirk, and breaking free from it. It shows Izuku his worst childhood memories.

He has one, in fact. A fire truck. It has a ladder you can move up and down. His mom got it for his birthday. It’s red and white, and the light on top flashes when you put the batteries in. “Izuku! Where are you?” Hands reach under him and turn him over. Big and gentle, lifting him off his back, into the air and out of the dirt. He’s folded against someone’s chest. They smell like cologne and smoke, heartbeat steady and slow against his ear. Slowly, Izuku blinks tears away and looks up. It’s a man. With half his face missing, so all that’s left is a smile. “Hello again,” he says and presses a kiss to Izuku’s hair. Izuku, ears ringing and limbs weak, opens his mouth and screams.
