Igniting a Storm
by MueraRashaye
When armies march, masks burn. The 62nd is reminded of just what their priest can do, Herald Griffon accidentally initiates a firestorm he can't control and Herald Anur might have alienated another Heraldic sibling. But the Rethwallen army made it to Valdemar without getting eaten by Furies, so that's something.

Building the Bones
by MueraRashaye
What they had hoped was a one-time solution to a short-term problem wasn't enough. The authorities of the 62nd Cavalry may have been helpless against the whims of Sunhame, but they'd tasted hope in these past days. And desperate men with a taste of hope could do some pretty crazy things. The tale of two men, their units, a mutual enemy, and the tenuous roots of an alliance.

Friends Across Borders (Art) -Part 7
by Origami_Roses
Since series can't be linked as an 'inspiring work', here's the main Friends Across Borders series page. This FAB-art series will mirror the epic story that spawns the art, and individual artworks (chapters) will have a link to the chapter it goes with. For now, they're in the order I finish them in, but eventually I'll rearrange them in story order.

Season of Rest
by MueraRashaye
Anur's family hadn't seen him in years, his youngest niece didn't actually remember him at all. When they got word he was dragging a friend 'not a Herald' home with him, they were surprised, and then delighted. When Kir accepted his Herald's invitation, he had been hoping to be distracted from the death shadowing him at the 62nd. He hadn't expected to get dragged into a family that wouldn't let him go for anything. But both agreed Anur should have given them more information than 'not a Herald'.
