Shamrock interferes before the execution of Portgas D. Ace can take place, then appears on the Red Force, seemingly to gloat. His intentions are surely malicious; after all, why else would he goad Shanks into a fight?

Sola fide, By faith alone | A Shanks and Shamrock Fanfic

by verxie

Shamrock wasn't the typical overprotective Brother. He was much worse, after not being able to see his brother for 24 years, Shanks finally comes back home to Mary Geoise, only for him to witness his self-loathing, twin Big brother's questionable feats.Shamrock hated the fact that he let his brother live in the poor lower world and despised himself for not being there for him more than anything. Now that his Younger brother was back, Shamrock's authority was getting pushed higher, out of all the cons he could possibly taste, only one worried him the most- Being absent from Shanks' life again. This is the tale of two brothers, St. Figarland Shamrock and St. Figarland Shanks who would later be known as "Mephistophelian Destroyers of the Blade", resented and feared by the Holy Land.

Separation Anxiety

by Anonymous

Shamrock Figarland never imagined that one day he would be separated from Shanks. For as long as he could remember, they had always been together. Same womb, same cradle, same room, same class. For sixteen years, they shared the same birthday, the same face, the same breakfast. Shanks slept on his left, Shanks walked on his right, Shanks's voice was always in his ears.
