Shorty's Dark Past retells the events of the 10th movie in never-before-seen detail. The story aims to fill many of the jarring plot holes the movie had by adding characters to the story that should have been there (like Ali, or Doc), while exploring the canonically unknown past of Shorty. The young troublemaker constantly finds himself confronted with his past as the mystical sleepstories draw him and his herd (led by Bron) away from their home. Meanwhile, Ali and Littlefoot (and of course his friends as well) also set out on lengthy journeys, each dealing with their own set of problems along the way, and eventually meeting at a mystical crater that seems to unite all longnecks - even those long thought to be lost forever...Caution is advised for those of you who are very sensitive to depictions of (abusive) violence and mental distress, as the story features these occasionally.This is the 3rd iteration of the tale; previous versions can be found on ff.net or the Gang Of Five Forum, the place where everything began for me. I cannot recommend checking these older versions as they're of poor quality and unfinished. My writing has improved vastly since 2013, when this story was first conceptualized. Enjoy!
