Bones had seen plenty of holos of Coruscant. It looked different than he’d expected as their transport broke atmo, dropping down towards the surface. Most of the troopers aboard had been granted leave to go down and explore, leaving only a skeleton crew aboard during the refitting. “Not enjoying the view, sir?” Crys asked, nudging him in the side. “I’ve seen better,” Bones shot back, “How long is this thing going to take to get to the Temple, anyway? Someone tell the pilot to stop messing around. Some of us have things to do.” OR, the one where Bones goes on leave and does very little resting or relaxing. Bones had never made it all the way to Coruscant before. There weren’t, generally, many injured there, and, therefore, little reason for him to make the trip into the Core. When his General sometimes got called in, he generally took a smaller craft, leaving the 212th to maintain things on the front. A vital update to the operating system that ran their life support system - only, apparently, available for installation by crews operating above Coruscant - required the Vigilance - and all souls aboard her - to make the trip in.
