personal affairs
by waltztangocache
Sovereign Immunity apparently has some misconceptions about Valence's relationship with Broun and Gur. That's weird, right? Like, why would he...

turn down a different
by fangirl_squee
“Don’t think of it as a demotion my dear Sovereign,” Crysanth had said, "think of it as an opportunity to prove to me that you are not as much of a disappointment as your current behaviour suggests.” It was the last thing she’d said to him before she’d sent him off the distant moon of Partizan. In a world where Sovereign Immunity is the one sent to Partizan, and Clementine is just another criminal/member of the team he was given.

Clementine Kesh is gone, and Clementine Kesh remains, or at least, to Sovereign Immunity she might be.

secret is safe
by fangirl_squee
Clem had always been told that it didn't matter who her father was, after all, how could any other parentage matter more than Crysanth? Surely, then, she should have been happy to go without, and do her best to model herself after her mother. In which Clementine Kesh considers a great deal of things in secret, and doesn't solve anything.

mail call
by fangirl_squee
Now, Sovereign isn’t an idiot. He's always been careful with the handful of pairings he’s had over the years, but these things do happen. It’s too dangerous for him to reach out to his past partners, and it feels selfish to put them in the line of fire over personal curiosity. The thing that's strange to him with that line of thought is that there's nothing further, no name, no demand of him, no request to meet. Just happy father's day and the implication that whoever it is always knows where to find him.

find a better place
by Kaynara
Crysanth Kesh has always been difficult to work for. And she always will be. One mission of many that Sovereign Immunity takes while he's hers.

bellwether
by zealotarchaeologist
“Let’s not waste time.” She says, and the scratch of her pen does not falter when she speaks. “Do you think I should produce an heir?”[please be aware, the very end of this fic makes reference to spoilers for pzn 28, though nothing is discussed explicitly]

somewhere ages and ages
by fangirl_squee
“What should I call you?” asked Thisbe. “Just Clementine,” said Clem. “Please.” Thisbe nodded. “Very well Operant Clementine.” Again Clem felt a rush of relief, letting out a breath she hadn’t realised she’d been holding. “Thank you…” She paused, searching for the right term. She wasn't sure what people called each other on farming worlds, so it seemed safest to copy what Thisbe had done. Her tutors had told her to do that if she wasn't sure, after all. “Thank you, Operant Thisbe.” SI takes Clem with him when he escapes House Kesh. The wheel remains the same, but things change for the players inside it.

party for one
by fangirl_squee
“I’m hosting a new year’s eve party," said Clem. “I was just discussing it with Gucci Garantine this afternoon-” She caught sight of Sovereign’s expression. “What?”“Nothing,” said Sovereign, “Just… if you wanted to see Gucci I’m sure there are easier ways to do it than hosting an entire party.”“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” said Clem. “The party is for new year’s eve, not Garantine. She will simply be one of many in attendance.”
