“Yes? Believe it or not, bisexuality is not something new. Hell, I was hooking up with dudes before you were even born,” Stan insists indignantly. “Hot ones, too.” Or, in which Stan has been bi for decades, and people keep being weirdly surprised by that.

Stan’s next shout feels more like a scream, desperate and frightened and tearing his throat on the way out: “Ford, please! Come on! Stanford, you can’t do this to me, not again— Stanford!” Something slams into him, and he hits the deck hard. His first instinct is, naturally, to punch —but he doesn’t get that far. As soon as he tries to scramble back to his feet, a knee wedges itself into his back and two hands seize tightly on his shoulders and press him down. A low, dangerous growl reverberates around him, and he freezes. Shit. Shit. ...are there werewolves this far out on the ocean? But when he cranes to see over his shoulder, he does not see a werewolf. Instead, he sees— “Ford?!” where i can't find you

“Oh, what the fuck!” Stan yelps. Honestly, this cannot get any weirder. Or grosser. “Can you understand me now?” Ford asks, like he didn’t just carve a microchip out of his fucking head, electrocute it, and cram it back in, without using sane people things like painkillers or, Stan doesn’t know, antiseptic? Shouldn’t there have been antiseptic involved? Or, in which Ford's interdimensional universal translator breaks, and he realizes just how much he's lost. Turns out thirty years of dimension-hopping aren't great for language retention.

Stan was a grumpy old man with a sense of humor that made Mabel like him immediately, and Ford seemed to be a more level headed intellectual with six fingers who disappeared to tend to his “research” more often then not. So far they both seemed fine. Stan was a little annoying but he could deal with it and Ford. Dipper wasn’t afraid to admit that he thought Ford was cool and he wanted to get to know him. Then there was their Uncle Bill, Fords husband. He didn’t know HOW to feel about Bill, who despite having white roots in his black and yellow hair and wrinkles around the corners of his mouth had insisted he wasn’t old enough to be a Great Uncle with a unnerving grin. He’d been observing him for a while, his weird behaviors and mannerisms. He’d once watched him pour Pitt Cola into his eye for fun, only to be chastised by Great Uncle Ford. He was convinced he wasn’t human. He’d shared his theories with Mabel but she’d scoffed and told him to stop ruining their summer with his crazy conspiracies. She was more focused on the idea of a summer romance, while he was subtly taking notes on his so called “Uncle.”

“Are you making latkes?” Dipper asks. He stands on his tiptoes to look over the pan of oil, which has a few latkes sizzling away in it. Stan has to slap Mabel’s hand away from the plate full of cooling latkes. “Hey! They’re not done yet, back off!” he barks. Or, in which it is Christmakkuh, Stan is long-suffering, Ford is not doing too well, and everyone else is just excited to eat fried food and put up the Christmas lights. A few bad memories surface, but family bonding prevails.

“Anyway, what’s in my kitchen that needs kid proofed? I keep the liquor in the high cabinets, where the kids won’t be able to reach,” Stan says. “Plus, the gun in the breadbox isn’t even loaded. Probably. I think.” Soos sighs. “I have my work cut out for me.” Or, in which Stan's niece and nephew are coming, and it's up to Wendy and Soos to fix Stan's life and habits.
Gravity Falls

“What are we doing, anyway?” Soos asks. “We’re defacing public property!” Stan says. “Now come on, follow me. And bring the hammer.” Or, in which Stan's headstone gets what's coming to it.

Stanford turned the postcard over in his hands, and the picturesque vista of New Mexico gave way to an all-too-familiar sloppy scrawl. It simply said, "PLEASE COME." Perhaps Stanley could be of aid one last time... (or, very has once again injected Ideas into my brain. today on the hyperfixation show: what if ford wasn't the one who sent the postcard?)

Stan winces and tries to rub away the pain in his temples. He wishes he could go back to sleep. Ford’s been snoring since the instant the sun dipped below the horizon, and Stan’s not usually jealous of his brother’s sleep schedule, but tonight’s the exception. The memory hits all at once, like a train or a bus or a whole fucking jet airliner crashing directly into Stan’s brain at top speed, on fire and alarms blaring and world-endingly bright. He doesn’t even register his knees hitting the deck, or the strangled noise that tears its way out of his throat.
