Rule number one is that Mama Loves You. Maybe Dicky has forgotten that? Suzanne Bittle decides it's time to remind him. Of that, and that nothing on the internet is ever private.

I have a lot of feelings about episode 3.23. My heart is breaking for all of them, but I can’t imagine Suzanne being anything but supportive. She loves her son and Jack. Here’s a ficlet with my HC of what happened at the other end of the line when Bitty hung up.

MooMaw's been telling Dicky things. Suzanne has to decide what to do about that, if anything. It's probably fine, really.Title from the wonderful 1970s folk song. Here are Crosby, Stills and Nash singing it live with the lyrics superimposed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zj8FlXGPcOQ

Dicky's freshman year was tough on Suzanne Bittle. She missed him so much and he was spending Easter break in Samwell instead of coming home and oh, that stung like nothing else, knowing that it would be months before she would see him again. Her husband was gone for a football conference of some sort and her son was a thousand miles away and she was just so lonely. So she broke her own secret rule. Don't go looking for Dicky's video blogs.
