Taskmaster is many things, mercenary, mimic, and master of a thousand fighting styles. So safe to say he's been through his fair share of strange jobs before. But waking up in a world full of soul powered teenagers, magic monsters, and fairy tale themed warriors is a new one. All he has is a letter from a man named Ozpin and a vague mission: survive, adapt, and complete the task.So he does what he does best. He moves forward.Along the way, he attracts a group of misfits. As the war for Remnant escalates, he finds himself helping to rebuild Beacon, training students, and being dragged deeper into a conflict that could end the world. The enemies are monsters, the allies unstable, and the mission never clear. But one thing stays the same. Taskmaster doesn’t quit. He’s not the hero they expected. But he’s the weapon they need.

The Quest for the Magical Elixir
by Illuminescence
According to "The Story of... Patatas", the Taskmaster's stuffed toy cat, Patatas, is down to his last of his nine lives. It's said he spends much of his time searching for a magical elixir that might restore some of his lives. Which is ridiculous. Patatas is a stuffed toy. A prop from the Taskmaster UK show, useful for the comedian contestants to use, abuse, and abandon as is convenient. No-one would really go on a quest for a magical elixir for him. That'd be silly.

Bullets and beers
by TheBlazeCal
So working together with Deadpool isn't always the most safest bet, he is unpredictable after all. He did try and make the situation a little less crappy though, so Tony shouldn't complain too much.

Bonding for Amnesiacs
by Nymphadora23
Luckily for Taskmaster’s patience, the man relented. That expressionless look was gone too, he noticed. Instead, the man was grinning at him, but not maliciously. Looks like he got over shock quickly. That was… Probably a good thing, right?“Then it looks like I’m the one in charge of reminding you of your past!” The man chirped, slinging an arm around his shoulder and pulling him into a side hug. No, his instincts told him. That wasn’t a good thing.

Just say it
by TheBlazeCal
