Halcyon Days
by Rand0mSmil3z
The story of FF7 if Zack lived.Shortly after being ambushed outside of Midgar, Zack and Cloud were separated: Zack remained under Turk care, while Cloud - confused from mako poisoning - went missing somewhere on the streets of Midgar. Now Zack has to somehow find his best friend before Shinra and Hojo can, not to mention that he has to stay under the radar himself - but with the Turks keeping secrets from him, and with so many reminders of his previous four years of being a lab experiment, staying anonymous is becoming more and more difficult.Meanwhile, Cloud has literally stumbled into Tifa's care. Given his mako-enhanced eyes, it doesn't take long for him to be recruited into Avalanche... but it's quickly becoming apparent that he's not the strong, sturdy SOLDIER that he'd like everyone to think. His memories are disjointed and his mind feels foggy, to the point that it becomes difficult to tell what's real and what's not. But Tifa needs him. He made a promise to her after all, and he intends to keep that promise... no matter what it takes.

Overlapping Melodies
by Marjorie_Franklin
Years after the Deepground conflict, Cloud and Tifa are surprisingly happy and as close to normalcy as they've ever been. But raising two preadolescents while also managing two businesses is hard. And just when Tifa thought it couldn't get any harder, she realizes she's probably pregnant. What are they supposed to do with two preteens, two businesses, and a baby?

Define Partner
by SirenAlpha
Tifa remembers Cloud as blunt and a loner before he left for Midgar to become a SOLDIER so she’s not surprised to discover he’s even more brusque seven years later after all that military training. She imagines the mercenary partner he mentions has to be the same for them to be able to work together, especially when Barret comes back from one short conversation with him and calls him an asshole. Then Zack Fair walks into Seventh Heaven, and Tifa realizes her mistake.

Cursed Cloud thinks that he's lost to the winding paths of the multiverse, never to see the people he loves again, except when they're reflected in the mirror images of total strangers. He's wrong.

Why anyone still liked him after everything he'd put them through was beyond him. Perhaps they were used to him being broken. Perhaps by this point, it was simply a character trait. However, he wondered if Tifa would really forgive him this time. Cloud had pushed and pushed, and he knew that at some point, she would stop coming back. Surely, even Tifa Lockhart had her limits.

lemon boy and i (we're gonna live forever)
by PUNK_MENACE
Cloud goes off on an odd job, gets attacked by some cerulean drakes, and calls it a day. No need to address the ice burns or blood loss, in his opinion. Tifa thinks otherwise. (Alternatively: Tifa is a saint and Cloud needs better self-esteem.)

Tifa is the one who falls into Aerith's church; she didn't really say yes to the bodyguard thing but Aerith's hard to say no to.
