(phone) call for help

by RejectsCanon

Touya clutches at the phone in his hands like the lifeline it is. If Touya played his cards right, this could be their chance to escape. No more hurt and pain and tears and fear. If Touya did this right they could be safe. This was do or die. It rings once. Then twice. Then a click. “Hellooo, listener! You’re on air! What’s on your mind tonight?” Or, Touya wants nothing more than to get him and his siblings out of their house and away from their father. To do this, he makes a last-ditch attempt and calls into Present Mic's radio station.

Touya pressed his palm more firmly to the gaping wound and craned his neck until the back of his head rested against the grimy wall. “Just thought I’d let you know I got stabbed.” There’s, unsurprisingly, a long moment of silence. Then, when Touya thought Keigo had ended the call, “Yeah, I know. I’m the one who stabbed you.”

you always knew who i was

by crimsonseekers

Touya knew Keigo was a boy before anyone else. The first day of kindergarten, a boy with red and white hair had walked up to Keigo, who was trying to figure out how to best climb up a tree to get closer to a little bird nest he had spotted, and simply gone, “Aren’t girls supposed to be doing the glitter crafts?” Keigo, in his muddied pink floral shirt, had simply huffed as his wings puffed up, scowling at Touya. “I’m not a girl!” Touya had blinked and cocked his head. “Okay,” he shrugged. Apparently that simple three-line exchange was all that was needed when you were six. “Wanna play frisbee?”

Burn Scars of Births

by SummerBummin

Touya cut himself off from his father the moment he turned eighteen and never looked back. His father had abandoned him years ago and he had no problem doing the same. However, everything changed when U.A. discovered Endeavor was abusing his son. Now Touya was desperately trying to balance being Shouto’s guardian, his paramedic job, and the investigation into Endeavor’s abuse. The last thing he needed was another complication in his life — so why couldn’t he stop thinking about a certain bird? Both brothers are skeptical that Endeavor will face real consequences for his abuse, but Touya is determined to keep Shouto away from their father. Even if he has to burn himself to do it.

Raptor Specialist

by gringalet

Touya Himura (previously Todoroki) had thrown out his aspiration of becoming a hero, along with the remnants of a truly atrocious relationship with his father, years ago. He now worked as a raptor specialist at one of Tokyo's bird rescues, as well as an on-call de-escalator for animal heteromorphs affected by quirk amplifiers. When he gets one such call on behalf of none other than No. 2 Hero Hawks, he turns up to a job that's easier than he expected in some ways, and much more difficult in others: the birdbrain seems to have decided that he wants to spend all his time glued to Touya's side, which means that Touya is on bird-sitting duty for the next couple of days until the quirk wears off.
