The Outsiders - S. E. Hinton+2
by grr4v3y4rrd
When another explosion of light goes off, Two watches as Darry’s eyes reflect the color, and something in him tells him to kiss the brunet. Usually, Two would look away, maybe stand up and go back inside to avoid the familiar disgust that develops in his stomach. Or he’d stay in place while his mind goes on about how wrong it is to yearn for such a thing. But for once, he doesn’t want to fight it. He doesn’t want to push down the everlasting want bubbling inside of him.
He knows he isn’t thinking straight, he knows what could happen, and he knows that he’ll regret it. But Darry just looks so goddamn good, and he’s been waiting for a moment like this, something so perfect it would be stupid to let go of his chance.
And so he doesn’t.
