What Doesnt Kill You
by The_only
Regret? Repentance? These, he refused to know. Unyielding, Sauron vows to unravel the very fabric of existence that chains him to his predetermined fate. Each step back through time is a chance to correct the missteps leading to his ruin, only to uncover that his fiercest adversary has always been lurking within.

Were Imperfect
by rielstell4
Her voice grew fiercer, her words laced with defiance. “And to the Void with those so-called divine beings who claim to be all-powerful yet did nothing when we needed them most! Why should we bleed and suffer for their mistakes? Why should we mend the messes they created?”Maglor’s eyes widened. “Mirion, you cannot speak of the Valar so—”“Why not?” she demanded. “If they cannot control their own creations, why create them at all? If Eru himself is flawed, why do his servants demand perfection from us? The Valar hated you for defying the order they expected from Eru’s Song. But if the Song painted you as the villain, is it truly your fault? Maybe,” she paused, her voice softening, “maybe the villain is the real victim.”

Utumno Rebuilt
by cp_snitch
My interpretation of what would've happened if Morgoth decided to rebuild Utumno and then a lot of fighting bcuz I like writing the Valar getting their holy asses kicked.

The Valar's Emissary, or The First Time Gil-Galad Got Black-Out Drunk
by Astrance
At a sign of Gil-Galad’s hand, the great doors of the hall opened; Eönwë, herald of Manwë, emissary of the Valar, walked in. Tall he was - taller than any Elf or Child of Ilúvatar, and upon his face shone the immortal light of the West. And, as he walked, with each step the light around him seemed to move, so that he appeared to be followed by wings of pure brilliance.Gil-Galad said aloud: “All hail the herald of the West! All hail!” And all rose and saluted, even him, for no power higher than the Valar’s was in Arda. But there was silence, until Gil-Galad asked: “What says the Lord of the Winds? For I am anxious to hear these words, of him who banished my sires and their kin, and remained mute ever since.”“Wait a minute,” said Eönwë, who started rummaging though his pockets. He had many. At last, he found a small notebook. Holding it at arm’s length, Eönwë read: “Here are the words of Manwë Sulimo, the Elder King, who usually sits upon snowy Taniquetil except right now, because he is on his way to cross the Sundering Seas, accompanied with a mighty host of the Valar and the High King of the Noldor.” Giving Gil-Galad a pointed look, the herald added: “The other one. Finarfin. Ours.”

The Passion of Legolas
by surreysmum
The love of Legolas for the future King runs counter to the plans of the Valar. They put him through a terrible series of trials to prove his worthiness.

Am I supposed to
by sadlybeans
Fëanáro is behaving very well, suspiciously well in fact… well, that’s until the new three High Kings of the Noldor present themselves before the Valar to formalise their decision to share the crown. Or, as an alternate title…. The Valar Receive The Scolding Of Their Lives And Are Permanently Traumatised.

Seawards to you
by sun_snatcher (melted_caramel)
The Valar come to judge Mairon is not completely irredeemable.Morgoth could not corrupt him into total, utter darkness, for all his twisted efforts. Merely, he’d focused him like how one would fit blinders on a horse; to steer him downwind to a single path: destruction. Perhaps the more proper way to put it is that Morgoth had only succeeded in conditioning him to abide in shadow; and so Sauron was borne not completely blinded, but instead simply suffering from acute tunnel vision—And where there is a tunnel, there shall also be a light at the end of it.It just so happens the light looks a lot like you. Or: Mairon Sauron repents. The Valar test his resolve— by placing you in his path.
