Percy gets injured. They don't have any healing magic or potions. Stitching the wound brings back some awful memories. Mostly gen, some perc'ahlia, mostly just VM being family and Percy being a sad emo baby.

Mama Bear
by ravenwing602
Vex once told him that the human had lost his dam when he was young, so maybe that was why Percy Dear was so odd. Orphan bears picked up strange habits if they lost their mothers too young, so perhaps humans were like that too? Percy Dear was a very smart human, but he didn’t seem to understand that he needed to sleep or eat, so sometimes Trinket had to remind him.

End Racism in the OTW if
by mischiefseven
"Vex has been Percy's emergency contact since well before they started dating. And then they’d gotten together, and there’d been no one else he would’ve wanted to be with him when he was sick or hurting, and then they’d broken up, and- They’d broken up, and everything to do with Vex had hurt. And the thought of finding someone else he trusted enough to list had made it hurt even more, so he’d never gotten around to changing it." Percy gets hurt, Vex gets called, and a conversation happens that's several months and a breakup overdue.
